ICPC

I am a former ICPC participant and never stopped being involved in the German ICPC community. Feel free to reach out if you have questions, for example how to host a contestsite for the GCPC.
For information about ICPC in Germany I recommend the following websites:

• Winter Contest and GCPC the websites of the two annual German programming competitions and
• CPUlm, the website of the "Verein zur Förderung des kompetitiven Programmierens", an association founded in 2020 to support competitive programming in Germany.

"Never stopped being involved" means roughly the following:

• 2025 - 2026: co-organizer of NWERC at KIT, Karlsruhe
• since 2023: co-organizer of CPUlm competitive programming days, annual event to prepare German students for the ICPC
• since 2022: head of Jury and co-organizer of the annual Winter Contest and GCPC
• since 2020: co-coach of the ICPC team of Ulm University, Germany
• 2015 - 2019: participant (NWERC Bronze medal 2019, GCPC Gold medal 2018)

WG

I was a co-organizer of WG 2023 in Fribourg, Switzerland and I made and maintain the general website of the WG conference series.

Further Interests

When I neither do research nor organize programming competitions I enjoy playing the viola and making other kinds of music, as well as hiking, cycling and (whenever there is snow) cross-country skiing.
